gufa.Labs is a film photo lab in Ahmedabad. We develop and scan colour, black & white and slide film in 35mm and 120.

Return of negatives or film rolls: ₹40 within Ahmedabad, ₹200 anywhere in India.

Terms of Service

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between gufa.Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and you (“you” or “your”), governing your use of our website and/or purchase of services from us (collectively, “Services”).

By using our website and/or making a purchase from us, you expressly agree to the following Terms.

1. Use of Services

• You shall not use our website and/or Services for any purpose that is unlawful, illegal or prohibited under Indian laws.
• It is your responsibility to ensure that the Services described on our website meet your requirements.

2. Orders & Availability

• You agree to provide accurate and complete information (film type, format, contact details) for order fulfilment and service delivery. We shall not be liable for issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information you provide to us.
• Rolls can be dropped at our lab or sent to us by post or courier.

3. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and charged per roll:
  • BNW ₹600, Color ₹900, Slide ₹1200
  • 120 film ₹1400 (scanned on a medium format Fujifilm GFX)
  • Half-frame +₹199, Expired film +₹199
  • Negatives returned in archival, handmade plastic sleeves: ₹40
• Full payment is required upfront, when you drop your rolls.

4. Turnaround

• Rolls are developed and scanned in under a week from the day we receive them.

5. Delivery & Returns

• Return of negatives or film rolls costs ₹40 within Ahmedabad and ₹200 anywhere in India.

6. Refunds & Cancellation

• Developing film can’t be undone, so once your rolls are submitted, we’re unable to offer refunds.
• If a roll comes back blank or black, we’ll refund ₹200 for that roll.
• In the very rare case that the error is ours, we’ll tell you honestly and replace your film with a free one.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Film lost or damaged in transit by a courier is the sender’s risk.
• Our liability is limited to the remedies in Section 6.

8. Privacy

• How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Developing film can’t be undone, so once your rolls are submitted, we’re unable to offer refunds or cancellations. Payment is taken in full upfront, when you drop your rolls.

• If a roll comes back blank or black, we’ll refund ₹200 for that roll.
• In the very rare case that the error is ours, we’ll tell you honestly and replace your film with a free one.
• Film lost or damaged in transit by a courier is the sender’s risk. Our liability is limited to the remedies above.

Few labs stand behind a roll the way we do. A blank or black roll gets ₹200 back, and if the error was ever ours, a free film.

Privacy Policy

• We store your name, email, address and phone number to communicate with you about your orders.
• Your scanned images are kept for 40 days, then deleted.
• We share your details only with the services that help us run orders, such as forms, email and payment providers. We never sell your data.
• You can ask us to delete your data at any time by writing to gufa.labs+store@gmail.com.
